This month sees the start of a program of works for Carillion
Direct Sourcing at Heathrow's T5C, and we've also been working
hard along side the HSE & ALLMI to bring you
our ALLMI Accredited Training School !

Heathrow Column Installation Project
We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded a further contract at T5C
on behalf of Carillion Direct Sourcing for the planning and management of
all Logistics & Contract Lift operations carried out on
their behalf for the Installation of Gallows Columns in preparation for
node buildings and fixed links.
This part of the project involved the shipping of columns from China
to Southampton, where from then on we were responsible for the timely delivery
& installation on site. The Columns were stored at our
Gatwick depot ready for transport to coincide with
Carillion's progress on site.
Our Special Projects Team prepared all Risk Assessments, Method Statements
& Lift Plans and liaised with BAA on behalf of our client. All 17 Lifts and
Installations were carried out on time, in budget and without incident over two
consecutive weekends in order to reduce any disruption to the staff
currently working on the T5C construction site.
