Welcome to the April newsletter
Welcome to the April Edition of the Newsletter, this month we're full of
pride as we celebrate all things British on St Georges Day !
Here you can see our very own Knight in Shining Armour stringing up
bunting for the Horley Chamber of Commerce' s annual St Georges
Day celebrations.
We've also been doing a spot of making & baking this month for our Client
Inviron, who required the supply and installation of temporary lighting masts
at Heathrow T5C, and we would like to share with you....
Gatwick Group's Recipe for Success!
1 ) find a cake tin 3.2mtrs x 3.2mtrs x 1mtr deep, if you haven't
got your own one, then do what we did and fabricate one out of
steel. Don't forget to give it a good covering of 'mould oil' so your
cake will come out nice and easily !
2) Add a re-bar cage for strength which will also add some
texture to the finished article. (This could actually be the recipe for my
mothers rock cakes you know!)
3) Make up 13 CU Mtr of 'Cake Mix' (C35 with fibre mix with
a slump 0f 80 - Mmmm nice! ) and then pour liberally until your tin
is full to the brim.
4) When your cake mix is good and ready (cured,) strike the shuttering, and
ice all 31 tons of it in red and white! (Very snazzy.)
5) Finally, top with a candle (Lighting Mast) and watch as Stuart from
Projects tries to blow it out & make a wish .... (Is somebody
going to tell him it's not real or shall I ?)
